Hiring CDL-A Drivers Across Arizona
Giltner Transportation was established in 1982 in Jerome, Idaho, and has been hauling refrigerated freight ever since. Arizona is one of 16 states where Giltner actively recruits experienced CDL-A drivers. Whether you are based in Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff, Yuma, or elsewhere in the state, we are looking for drivers who want steady miles, competitive pay, and late-model equipment without the hassle of touch freight.
This is an OTR position. You will be out on the road 2–3 weeks at a time with preplanned loads. Drivers can choose to run Western Regional or West-to-Southeast lanes depending on preference and freight availability. When it is time to come home, dispatch coordinates your routing.
What to Expect as an Arizona-Based Giltner Driver
Giltner is an OTR refrigerated carrier. You will be out on the road 2–3 weeks at a time with preplanned loads — no scrambling for freight. Drivers can choose to run Western Regional or West-to-Southeast lanes. Our dispatch team works with you and creates a relationship that is different from other companies — you are not just a number.
All Giltner freight is 99% no-touch refrigerated — fresh produce, meats, dairy, and pharmaceuticals. You drive, and the shipper and receiver handle the loading and unloading. Average haul length across the Giltner network is 1,312 miles.
Home time is 1 day home for every 7 days out, and that time is bankable. Most drivers are out 2–3 weeks at a time. Your specific home time routing is coordinated with dispatch.
