Have Your Own Equipment?

If you already have your own equipment, you can come on as an Owner Operator! Here is how you can qualify as an Owner Operator for Giltner:
- Equipment must be 3 years old or newer
- Must be California Carbon-Compliant
- Tractor must weigh less than 17,500 lbs (dry weight, before fuel)
- Tractor must be able to haul 44,000 lbs
- Inspection of equipment will be required prior to signing of contract
Owner Operators with their own Authority will enjoy the same benefits as lease operators, but can make 80% of Line Haul instead of 73%. Giltner will also provide trailers for drop and hook freight.
