A Look at the Past
1982
- Giltner is established in November with an initial fleet of a dozen trucks.
1983
- Douglas Blevins joins the company as an accountant in January.
1990
- Douglas Blevins and his wife Cheri purchase the company, focusing on integrity and honesty in partnerships with drivers, customers, and employees.
Late 1990s
- Under the Blevins’ leadership, Giltner grows to 140 trucks.
2003
- Giltner revamps operations to specialize in hauling time and temperature-sensitive produce, enhancing quality and reliability.
2005
- Greg Paulson becomes a partner with the Blevins after starting with the company in 1999 as CFO.
2017
- Greg and Shawna Paulson purchase Giltner following Douglas Blevins’ passing.
Present Day
- Giltner operates over 250 trucks and 300 trailers with state-of-the-art equipment capable of tracking the location and temperature of every load via satellite.
- Giltner Logistics, the brokerage division, services the entire country with several regional offices located from coast to coast.
